This designed to give an overarching view of the state/territory and federal levels of government at any given point, since Federation in 1901.

State and territory results do not necessarily impact federal results, and vis-a-vis. In some elections, issues at one level of government can impact others. The maps and data on this page are only here to display information, not draw those conclusions.

Each state and territory, as well as Federal, is listed below the map. You can look at more information surrounding the elections and at a glance view the years of previous elections.
